Study on theClinical Effect of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in the Treatment of Patients with Brain Injury
Objective:To Objective to explore the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatment of brain trauma patients. Methods:The cases came from 100 patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to the De-partment of Neurosurgery,Suzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from August 2017 to September 2019.They were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment, and the observation group was given hyperbaric oxygen therapy on this basis. The clinical efficacy, coma degree and neurological deficit degree were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference between the two groups in Glasgow coma index(GCS)and NIHSS before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the GCS in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the NIHSS score was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is effective in the treatment of pa-tients with brain trauma, which can improve the neurological deficit and reduce the degree of coma.
