Analysis of Primary Health Care Institutions'Prevention and Control Capacity to deal with Major Infectious Disease Outbreaks
Objective:To discuss the main problems exposed by primary medical institutions in the prevention and control of major emergency infectious diseases and the aspects to be improved,and put forward improvement meas-ures.Methods:Questionnaire survey method was used to analyze the department settings,personnel structure,ma-terial reserves,and emergency response capacity of infectious diseases in medical institutions at all levels in Xiantao.Results:There are no significant differences between the material reserves of primary healthcare institutions and their financial revenues.The ability of secondary healthcare institutions to prevent and control infectious diseases needs improvement.There is a significant gap between the manpower reserves and professional quality of personnel in secondary and primary healthcare institutions compared to tertiary healthcare institutions.Conclusion:There are great differences in the construction of prevention and control systems for major infectious diseases in primary medi-cal institutions.Medical institutions at all levels should fully consider the risk of epidemic situation,attach impor-tance to personnel training and the construction of infectious disease treatment disciplines,and improve the emer-gency system.
