Effect ofNutritional Sequential Nursing Intervention on Elderly Patients with Severe Pneumonia
Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of nutritional sequential nursing intervention on elderly pa-tients with severe pneumonia.Methods:From February 2021 to December 2022,30 elderly patients with severe pneumonia were selected as the research object,and were randomly divided into control group and study group,with 15 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the research group applied nutritional sequential nursing intervention on this basis.The changes of quality of life,nutritional status and complications were compared between the two groups before and after nursing.Results:Before nursing,the two nutritional inde-xes were compared,P＞).05;After nursing,the nutritional indexes of the two groups were improved,and the levels of serum albumin,prealbumin and hemoglobin in the study group were better than those in the control group,P＜0.05.Before nursing,the SF-36 scores of the two groups were compared,P＞0.05;After nursing,the scores of both groups were improved,and the scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,P＜0.05.The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group,P＜0.05.Conclusion:Nutritional sequential nursing intervention has a significant effect on elderly patients with severe pneumonia,which can improve patients'nutritional indexes,improve their quality of life and effectively control com-plications.
