The application Value of Specialist Nursing Combined with Predictive Nursing in the Treatment of COPD Complicated by Respiratory Failure with Non-invasive Ventilator
Objective:This study assesses the effectiveness of specialized and predictive nursing in managing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)patients with respiratory failure, using noninvasive ventilation. Methods:A total of 50 COPD patients with respiratory failure, treated between January 2021 and May 2023,were randomly as-signed to two groups of 25 each. The control group received standard nursing care, while the experimental group benefited from both specialized and predictive nursing approaches.Comparative analyses were conducted on lung function indices, dyspnea scores, and quality of life measures. Results:Initial lung function indices showed no sig-nificant difference(P>0.05).Post-intervention,the experimental group exhibited superior FEV1 and FEV1/FVC ratios compared to the control group(P<0.05).Similarly,dyspnea scores at 1,2,and 3 weeks post-inter-vention were notably lower in the experimental group(P<0.05),while quality of life scores were consistently higher(P<0.05).Conclusion:The integration of specialized and predictive nursing in the treatment of COPD pa-tients using noninvasive ventilation significantly enhances lung function, reduces dyspnea, and improves overall quality of life.
