Effectiveness And Safety Analysis of Indocyanine Green Lens anterior Capsule Staining in Phacoemulsification
Objective:To explore and analyze the application of indocyanine green lens anterior capsule staining in Phacoemulsification(phaco),and to evaluate its efficacy and safety. Methods:From December 2022 to December 202366 patients(80 eyes)with white cataract who underwent Phaco in the Department of Ophthalmology of Jiangy-in People's Hospital were analyzed retrospectively.According to the staining of indocyanine green lens anterior cap-sule during operation, they were divided into control group(40 eyes)and staining group(40 eyes). The capsulorhexis of the two groups was recorded, and the best corrected vision, intraocular pressure and corneal endothelial cell count of the two groups were followed up on the first day、the first week、the first month and the third month after opera-tion.Results:The incidence of radial tearing of capsulorhexis incision, failure of continuous circular capsulorhexis(CCC),and implantation of IOL in ciliary groove in the staining group were significantly lower than those in the control group,P<0.05.On the first day、the first week、the first month and the third month after operation, the BCVA and the average intraocular pressure of the two groups were compared,P>0.05;At the first week after op-eration,the number of corneal endothelial cells lost in the staining group was less than that in the control group,P<0.05.One month and three months after operation, the number of corneal endothelial cells lost in the two groups was compared,P>0.05.Conclusion:Indocyanine green lens anterior capsule staining can improve the success rate of CCC in Phaco, which is a safe and efficient auxiliary means.
