Pathogenic Microbial Test Results of Elderly Male Patients with Renal Stones And Urinary Tract Infection in Urology Department Hospitalization Analysis of Drug Resistance
Objective:To investigate and analyze the results and drug resistance of pathogenic microorganisms in eld-erly male inpatients with urinary tract infection in kidney calculi.Methods:172 hospitalized elderly male patients with kidney calculi complicated with urinary tract infection in xinyi city People's Hospital from January 2023 to De-cember 2023 were included in the study.Urine samples of all patients were collected, and pathogenic microorgan-isms were tested and drug resistance was analyzed. Results:A total of 172 strains of pathogenic bacteria were detec-ted in 172 patients, and the main pathogens were classified into gram-negative bacteria、gram-positive bacteria and fungi, accounting for 63.37%、22.09%and 14.53%respectively.Escherichia coli is the most resistant to cefu-roxime axetil, ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin.Klebsiella pneumoniae was the most resistant to cefuroxime axetil and ceftazidime.Enterococcus is the most resistant to erythromycin.Coagulase-negative staphylococci are the most re-sistant to erythromycin. Conclusion:Pathogens in urine samples of hospitalized elderly male patients with urinary tract infection in kidney calculi are widely distributed, among which Gram-negative bacteria account for the highest proportion and have the strongest drug resistance.
