Comparison of Conservative And Surgical Treatments of Closed Tendinous Mallet Finger
Objective:To compare the clinical effects of conservative treatment and surgical treatment of closed tendi-nous mallet finger. Methods:Sixty patients with closed tendinous mallet finger diagnosed and treated in Nanjing High-tech Hospital from January 2020 to December 2024 were randomly divided into control group(30 cases)and obser-vation group(30 cases),and were given conservative treatment and surgical treatment respectively. The clinical effect、underextension angle、active flexion angle、pain degree and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results:Before treatment, the underextension angle, active flexion angle and VAS score of the two groups were compared,P>0.05.Thetwo groups werefollowedup for 12 months. The underextension angle and active flex-ion angle of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the VAS score was lower than that of the control group,P<0.05.The excellent and good rate of treatment effect in the observation group was high-er than that in the control group,P<0.05.Before treatment, the scores of physiological function、physiological func-tion、physical pain、general health、energy、social function、emotional function and mental health of the two groups were compared,P>0.05;The two groups were followed up for 12 times, and the scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:Surgical treatment of closed tendinous mallet finger is helpful to improve the patients'under-extension angle and active flexion angle, relieve pain, improve clinical treatment effect and quality of life of patients.
