Application value analysis of PDCA cycle mode in nursing management of disinfection supply room in our hospital
Objective:To explore and analyze the application value of PDCA circulation mode in nursing management of hospital disinfection supply room.Methods:From January to August 20221000 medical instruments were select-ed from the disinfection supply room of Nanjing Tongren Hospital,and they were listed as the control group,taking routine nursing management.From January to August 20231000 medical instruments received in the hospital dis-infection supply room were selected as the experimental group,and PDCA circulation mode was adopted for nursing management.The qualified rate of disinfection and sterilization of medical devices,the quality of nursing manage-ment,the occurrence of nosocomial infection and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:The qualified rates of medical devices recovery、cleaning、disinfection、sterilization、packaging and distribution in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,P<0.05.The scores of packa-ging management、pollution disposal、equipment operation management、first-aid goods management and equipment management in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,P<0.05.The incidence of incision infection、urinary tract infection、respiratory tract infection and digestive tract infec-tion in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.The satisfaction of patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:PD-CA circulation mode can effectively improve the qualified rate of disinfection and sterilization of medical devices,re-duce the incidence of nosocomial infection,improve the quality of nursing management,and thus improve patient satisfaction.
