Clinical Study on the Treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence in Middle-aged And Elderly Women by Adjusting Spleen And Kidney by Acupoint Application
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of acupoint application on regulating spleen and kidney meridians in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence(SUI)in middle-aged and elderly women.Methods:60 middle-aged and elderly female SUI patients admitted to Huguosi Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group received acupoint sticking therapy, while the control group received placebo therapy. After 8 weeks of treatment, the quality of life of urinary incontinence, spleen and kidney meridian abnormality scale were observed and compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the I-QOL scores of the two groups were higher in the treatment group than in the control group,P<0.05.The scores of meridian examination before and after treatment in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:Acupoint application to adjust spleen and kidney meridians has a significant effect on middle-aged and elderly women with SUI,which can improve the abnormal state of meridians and improve the quality of life of patients, and the effect is stable.
