Application Effect of Supportive Education Intervention Guided by Self-care Theory in Patients with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Treated with Radiotherapy
Objective:To study the practical effects of a supportive mission intervention for patients with NPC radio-therapy based on self-care theory. Methods:A total of 121 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer undergoing radio-therapy from 2019.3 to 2021.4 were randomly divided into two groups,61 patients received routine care, and the study group of 60 cases combined with supportive propaganda intervention guided by self-care theory, comparing the degree of oral mucosa damage and pain degree between the two groups. Results:The injury degree of oral mu-cositis in the study group was less than that in the control group,P<0.05.The NRS score of the study group after 5 weeks of radiotherapy was lower than that of the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:After the implementation of supportive education by self-care theory, the degree of oral mucosa damage and oral pain can be reduced, and their self-care ability should be improved, which should be promoted.
