Effects of Laparoscopic Total Extraperitoneal Hernia Repair on Inflammatory Mediators、Oxidative Stress And Pain Mediators in Patients with Inguinal Hernia
Objective:To explore the effect of laparoscopic total extraperitoneal hernia repair(TEP)on inguinal her-nia and its influence on inflammatory mediators, oxidative stress and pain mediators. Methods:Eighty patients with inguinal hernia who underwent surgical treatment in Zhanjiang Central People's Hospital from January 2022 to De-cember 2023 were randomly divided into open group and TEP group, with 40 cases in each group.Open group re-ceived open hernia repair and TEP group received TEP operation.Observe and compare the overall effect of the two groups. Results:The operative indexes and postoperative complications in TEP group were better than those in open group、and the inflammatory mediators、oxidative stress and pain mediators were better than those in open group 1 day after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with open hernia repair,TEP has the advantages of less com-plications,less trauma and faster recovery, and has less influence on inflammatory reaction, oxidative stress and pain.
