Ttherapeutic Effect of Bleeding in 6 Areas of Ear Ring on Acute Suppurative Tonsillitis in Children
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of bloodletting in area 6 of helix on acute suppurative tonsillitis in children.Methods:100 children with suppurative tonsillitis in outpatient and emergency department of Foshan Mater-nal and Child Health Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium dry suspension, and the experimental group was treated with bloodletting in zone 6 of helix. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was higher in the experimental group(94.00%)than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum inflammatory index C-reactive protein, white blood cell count and serum amyloid A level in peripheral blood in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the time for tonsil swelling to subside, purulent secretion to subside and swallowing function to recover was shorter than that in the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bleeding therapy in the 6th region of helix can improve the rehabilitation effect, reduce the inflammatory reaction and accelerate the regression of tonsil symptoms in children with acute suppurative tonsillitis.
