Impact of New Media Health Education on Bowel Preparation for Outpatient Colonoscopy Examinees
Objective:To study the influence of new media health education on intestinal preparation of outpatients undergo-ing colonoscopy.Methods:From June 2021 to June 2022,3552 patients who received colonoscopy in Hongqi Hospital affil-iated to Mudanjiang Medical University were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,(with 1776 pa-tients in each group).The control group was given routine health education,while the experimental group used new media health education.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results:Compared with the control group,the intestinal cleanliness and comfort of the subjects in the experimental group were higher,the incidence of related adverse re-actions was lower,and the implementation rate and reexamination rate of health education knowledge were higher,P<0.05.Conclusion:The new media health education can improve the comfort and cleanliness of intestinal preparation for outpa-tients with colonoscopy,reduce adverse reactions,and improve the implementation rate of health education knowledge and the willingness to re-examine.
