Short-term Efficacy of Butylphthalide Injection Combined with Edaravone Dextromethorphan in the Treatment of Acute Progressive Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To explore the short-term efficacy of butylphthalide injection combined with edaravone in the treat-ment of patients with acute progressive cerebral infarction. Methods:The subjects were all patients with acute progressive cerebral infarction diagnosed and treated in Zhanjiang Central People's Hospital. The diagnosis and treatment time ranged from June 2023 to June 2024,and 100 cases were included. They were randomly divided into single drug intervention group(intervention with butylphthalide sodium chloride injection alone)and two drug combination group(combined application with butylphthalide injection and edaravone dextromethorphan),with 50 cases in each group. The overall curative effect was evaluated from the aspects of short-term curative effect、nerve defect、inflammatory factors、serum free radicals and safety. Results:After treatment,in terms of nerve defect(NIHSS score)、three inflammatory factors(hs-CRP、IL-8、TNF-α)and three serum free radicals(ROS、NO、SOD),the serum SOD content in the combination of two drugs was higher than that in the single drug intervention group, and the other indexes were lower(P<0.05).In terms of short-term effi-cacy and safety, the total effective rate of the combination of two drugs was higher than that of the single drug intervention group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the adverse reaction rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of patients with acute progressive cerebral infarction, the combined application of bu-tylphthalide injection and edaravone dextromethorphan can alleviate nerve defect, inflammatory reaction and brain injury, which can ensure the short-term curative effect and treatment safety.
