Research on the Application of Digital Twins in Transportation Planning and Design
This paper comprehensively discusses the application of digital twin technology in transportation planning and design.Through a detailed analysis of the definition of digital twin,its development history and its technical characteristics in transportation planning,the article discusses in depth the application of this technology in traffic flow simulation prediction,infrastructure maintenance optimization,and emergency management response strategies.In particular,through a case study of Tencent's real-time digital twin system for intelligent transportation,the paper demonstrates the actual effects and potential impacts of digital twin technology in real-world transportation planning.
