A Macro Study on the Impact of Digital Economy Development on Income
In recent years,the digital economy has been developing rapidly,and its impact on the socio-economic structure and lifestyle has become increasingly significant,which has had a far-reaching impact on the labor market.In order to further explore the mechanism of the impact of digital economy on income,we start from the macro level,collect data from 31 provincial-level administrative regions in China during 2010-2020,construct a parametric panel data model,and conduct empirical analysis.The analysis from multiple perspectives yields more refined results and feasible suggestions for a heterogeneous labor force.Ultimately,it is found that the digital economy promotes employment in a way that balances labor supply and demand,increases job choices for the labor force,and reduces information asymmetry,which in turn promotes labor income.
