Digital Practices for Resisters of Generative AI Technologies
The development of artificial intelligence(AI)technology has two sides.While the technological innovation has brought about a wide range of applications,some of the non-users of the technology have expressed their concerns about the negative impacts of the spread of the technology through their actions in cyberspace.The study will focus on this group and analyze their language and action strategies to cope with AI technology in cyberspace.The study finds that resisters engage in digital practices through the construction of resistance gestures and the implementation of resistance actions during online interactions,and adapt their strategies to different contexts.The study adds to the discussion on the duality of technologies in the context of AI applications.
