China ISO standard sand is a legal reference material used for cement strength inspection.Standard sand is made of high purity non-renewable natural quartz sand.With the depletion of natural quartz sand resources in China,the production and supply of standard sand are seriously affected.Based on the feasibility study of replacing natural quartz sand with machine-made quartz sand,this paper innovatively adopts a new type of dry energy-saving vertical grinding and shaping equipment developed by ourselves to grind and shape machine-made quartz sand,and it is used to replace standard natural sand in the test.The results show that the single grade sand can replace the standard sand prepared by natural quartz sand,and has good performance characteristics.
