Research on the electrical conductivity and heating function of carbon fiber composite carbon black conductive mortar
This study presents the preparation method, electrical conductivity, and electrical heating functionality of carbon fiber com-posite carbon black conductive mortar. As a new type of functional building material, conductive mortar exhibits electrical conductivity and electrical heating functionality, making it suitable for various applications such as induction heating,anti-icing,and snow removal. In order to enhance the performance of conductive mortar, the study investigates the preparation method using a combination of carbon fiber and carbon black, and analyzes the effect of carbon fiber content on the electrical resistivity and electrical heating functionality of the mortar.Experimental results reveal that the optimal carbon fiber content is 1%of the mass fraction of the binder material, while the carbon black content is 0.4%of the mass fraction of the binder material. After applying a 10 V AC voltage for 1 h,the temperature of the sample increases by 13.3℃.Electrical performance tests further confirm that the carbon fiber composite carbon black conductive mortar has low electrical resistivity and high heating power density, thus exhibiting strong snow melting or de-icing capabilities.None-theless,in order to apply these experimental findings to larger-scale applications, further research on conductive mortar samples is re-quired.
