A dynamic network based on SDN and multi area OSPF routing protocol
OSPF routing protocol is a widely used routing protocol,when it runs in a large single area,due to the flooding propagation of LSA,the LSDB data of network equipment will increase sharply,which will affect the normal operation of the network.Multi area OSPF protocol can reduce the scale of LSDB and save network resources,but its cumbersome maintenance will increase the load of network management.SDN mechanism uses the controller to manage the network uniformly,which improves the management efficiency of the network.A multi area OSPF network model based on SDN is proposed,it uses SDN mechanism to configure and distribute OSPF routing protocol,what's more,it can automatically and dynamically divide the area according to the LSDB scale,this solution not only reduces the scale of LSDB,but also overcomes the defect of cumbersome multi area OSPF configuration.The new model is successfully simulated,then a single area OSPF network is constructeded with the new model,and the network performance is satisfactory.
