Synthesis and properties ofA D-π-A terpyridine derivative and its zinc complex
A D-π-A terpyridine derivative DY was designed and synthesized by Witting reaction using 4-n-butoxy-benzaldehyde as electron donor and terpyridine as electron acceptor. Its zinc(Ⅱ)complex DY-Zn was synthesized by reacting with Zn(NO3)2·6H2O.The structures of DY and DY-Zn were characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy. The optical properties of UV-vis absorption spectra and fluorescence emission spectra were studied. The results demonstrated that complex DY-Zn has good aggregation-induced enhanced emission properties, and the fluorescence intensity reaches the highest value when the water content is 80%,while compound DY exhibits an aggregation-induced quenching properties.
