In this paper, two triphenylamine derivatives L1 and L2 were designed and synthesized with triphenylamine as raw materials, and their structures were characterized by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy.UV-vis absorption and fluorescence emission spectra of these two complexes in ethanol-water mixture with different fraction of water were investigated. The results showed that L1 exhibited obvious an aggregation-induced emission(AIE)property, while L2 exhibited a dual-state emission(DSE)property.Cell experiments have shown that both compounds have low cytotoxicity and are capable of penetrating the cell membranes and staining cytoplasmic regions of cells, with compound L2 performing better imaging.
