Application of image reproduction in contemporary art communication
With the advent of the age of visual images and mass media,as the most powerful and efficient visual media culture in contemporary society,images have penetrated into every level of social life.From the perspective of semiotics,the interdisciplinary knowledge of iconography,im-aging,communication and so on were combined.Firstly,the change of the spirit of artwork under the background of mechanical reproduction and its form in contemporary art were analyzed.Then the symbolic expression and influence of images in pop art by taking Andy Warhol as an example were analyzed.The status quo,characteristics and problems of the symbolization of contemporary art were systematically analyzed and summa-rized.Finally,the popularization of contemporary art and the relationship between consumer culture and mass culture were expounded and reflect-ed.
