According to the scientific research in two different fields of urban public space and the growth requirements of children and adoles-cents,the serious shortage of indoor space for children's activities in small and medium-sized towns were discussed,the instability in the design of solutions for urban children's public areas were grasped.How cities and towns should benefit from urban indoor space with children as the starting point from a rational perspective in the future methods and how to design the urban public space from the perspective of the indoor space.The theme style and design concept of entertainment projects were put forward,and fully considered the personalized needs of children of all ages,the Piaget's cognitive development theory was used as the main principle basis for dividing public space functional areas need of the whole age group for children's development in the theme activity areas to meet the different functions.The design site was located in Chunhua Town,Jiangning Dis-trict,Nanjing City.A children's nature park that integrated safety,entertainment,adventure,and science scores has been designed in response to the willingness and needs of education and entertainment,improving the quality of life for nearby children.
