At present,with the intensification of cultural integration,the difficulty of protecting ethnic cultural diversity is surging.Games have be-come an important means of digital protection of culture due to their communication,which effectively enter ethnic folk culture into the work flow of game design and provide a new way to solve the problem of ethnic folk culture transmission.Case analysis was used to divide and sort the cur-rent successful cases in the direction of game visual expression,game story structure and game interaction,and the extraction path model of eth-nic folk culture elements was obtained in game design.In order to fully explore the cultural value other than entertainment and commercial value of the target game quickly and quickly,the extraction path of national folk culture elements provides a new idea for the inheritance of traditional culture.
