The origin of woodcut printing in China and the development of woodcut printing complement each other.It is an important tool to car-ry cultural transmission and enlightenment.Then it develops independently,seeks its own artistry,breaks the law of copying and reproducing origi-nal manuscripts,and pursues the contingency of turning to creating art.Since the 1990s,woodcut printmaking art has gradually moved towards the edge.To change this situation and break through the limitations of traditional woodcut printmaking materials and media,the possibilities of woodcut printmaking creation with comprehensive media were tried to broaden.Through the integration of contemporary Chinese woodcut prints and comprehensive material media,and the more possibilities of woodcut prints in China were discussed.
