Application of AI in fashion design——Taking AIDA as an example
The fashion industry has been widely influenced by artificial intelligence,and AIDA(Artificial Intelligence Fashion Design Assistant)is a newly launched technology developed by the Hong Kong Institute of Artificial Intelligence Design,targeting the community of fashion designers as its users.By collaborating with AI,designers can create original design works by leveraging their creative inspiration,achieving agility,efficiency,and flexibility in fashion design.To explore the collaboration model between AI and fashion designers,on-site research,literature review and com-parative analysis were used to dissect the similarities and differences between traditional design and AI technology,as well as to study the new model of intelligent design in human-machine cooperation.AI accelerates the design process,reduces design costs,and diversifies design meth-ods,breaking through the traditional fashion design mode under the influence of new technologies.AIDA provides a reference for the unlimited possibilities of artificial intelligence in the field of fashion design,leading the way towards the intelligent future of fashion design.
