Innovative design of Cha Shan Yao dress pattern based on extension semiot-ics
As one of the five branches of the Yao ethnic group in Jinxiu,Cha Shan Yao's dress patterns and color matching give people a strong sense of impact and national identity.In the design of the derivative products of modern Cha Shan Yao costume culture,it is necessary to give full play to the unique advantages of the culture.Based on the theory of extension semiotics,the pattern elements of Cha Shan Yao costume were ex-tracted and the corresponding extension primitive model was constructed.Finally,combined with specific design practice,the feasibility of this method was verified.In order to inherit and carry forward the traditional dress culture of Cha Shan Yao ethnic group,new ways to protect the tradi-tional dress culture of Cha Shan Yao ethnic group and to seek innovative development were explored.
