Yubei Village in Yongjia County is a typical kinship village in the Nanxi River basin,and its spatial pattern and texture are well preserved.Yubei Village was taken as a sample,a sociological perspective of"family"was introduced.It attemptted to analyze the spatial texture,street and al-ley spaces,ritual buildings,and courtyard patterns,as well as their isomorphic and convergent characteristics,in order to clarify the internal logic between social structure and spatial structure.It hoped to provide new ideas for the protection and development of traditional villages in China through a new understanding of village space.
