Decorative forms and cultural connotation of the"Kylin&Eight Treasures"glazed screens heart in the Houtu Temple
Taking the kylin and eight treasures patterns of Houtu Temple in Jiexiu,Shanxi Province as the main research object,the overall appear-ance of its decoration,the composition and distribution of visual elements,color and material were discussed,the cultural connotation of kylin pat-tern,eight treasures pattern and their combination were analyzed,and the internal reasons for their evolution were explored.On this basis,the strategies for inheriting and innovating traditional Chinese classic patterns were proposed:both faithful inheritance and bold innovation.The inno-vation path of contemporary fashion design is opened up in three aspects:balancing the rigor and freedom in form,paying attention to the real be-liefs and needs of the public,and catering to the psychology of consumers seeking diversity and perfection.
