Achievements in natural forest protection, ecological restoration, and sustainable management in China
We review recent achievements in natural forest protection,ecological restoration,and sustainable management in China.We consider three domains of these achievements,namely,dynamic disturbances and conservation technology,restoration technology for typically degraded natural forests,and landscape restoration and spatial management technology for natural forests.We discuss an innovation system of theory and technology for natural forest protection and ecological restoration in China.Finally,we highlight future research priorities.
