摘要

在这篇告别演讲中,我想分享自己在过去40 年的研究中获得的 4 个关键认识.(1)现实性:学校/教育机构的学习和现实生活/工作场所的学习必须紧密联系.(2)支持性:为学习者提供适当类型和数量的支持,既不要太少,也不要太多,这对于优化模拟和现实环境中的学习至关重要.(3)复杂性:我们需要经验支持的教育理论来帮助理解教学和学习过程,并做出合理的设计决策,优化模拟和现实环境中的学习.(4)通用性:通用领域技能的教学必须与特定领域技能的教学完全交织在一起,优化模拟和现实环境中的学习.

Abstract

In this valedictory lecture,I would like to share four key insights that I have gained in the last 40 years of research,which relate to:(1)Reality:Learning in schools/educational institutions and learning in real life/workplaces must be closely linked.(2)Learner Support:Providing learners with the right type and amount of support,neither too little nor too much,is essential to optimize learning in both simulated and real-life settings.(3)Complexity:We need empirically supported educational theories to help understand the teaching and learning process and to make sound design decisions that optimize learning in both simulated and realistic settings.(4)The teaching of domain-general skills must be fully intertwined with the teaching of domain-specific skills to optimize learning in both simulated and realistic environments.
