Learners' Acceptance in Two VR Environments—An Empirical Study Based on Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities
The technical advantages of VR technology are highly compatible with the goals of ideological and political education, and can be used as a carrier to effectively help colleges and universities increase the effectiveness of ideological and political education.Based on the technology acceptance model(TAM),this paper constructs a model of students'acceptance of VR ideological and political courses in colleges and universities, and explores the influencing factors of students'acceptance of VR ideological and political courses in both the immersive VR and the interactive VR.The study analyses the experimental results through methods like single factor analysis and partial least squares, and finds that there is a significant difference between perceived usefulness and want-to-use attitude in the ideological and political courses in the two VR environments, that there is no significant positive effect of perceived ease of use and cognitive load on technology acceptance, and that there is a significant positive effect of achievement goals on technology acceptance in both.During the construction of virtual reality technology-supported courses, colleges and universities should pay attention to:analyze the course content attribution and reasonably select the technology category;enhance the design of environmental resources to meet the ability level of students;strengthen the cultivation of intrinsic motivation and optimize the design of teaching courses.
