International Research on VR-Supported Teacher Education:Current Status,Research Topics and Implications
In the context of the deep integration of VR and education,how to innovate the training of teacher trainees with the help of VR technology has become an important part of the digital transformation of teacher education.Based on this,bibliometric and field review methods are used to sort out the research results of VR-supported teacher education at home and abroad in the past 10 years.Firstly,the paper analyzes the research status of the development of VR-supported teacher education at home and abroad according to the literature publishing institutions,authorship,keyword clustering,and citation;secondly,based on the thematic coding of the literature,it discusses in detail the international VR-supported teacher education's research level topics,specifically including experimental teaching environment,teaching skills of teacher trainees,teaching experience,implementation strategies and existing problems;finally,with reference to the international research results of VR-supported teacher education,it puts forward targeted recommendations in four aspects based on the current status of research and development in China,namely,the construction of curriculum theories,the exploration of experimental teaching modes,the design of intelligent teaching spaces and platforms,and the construction of evidence-based quality evaluation,so as to provide reference for the digital transformation of teacher education in China.
