摘要
《伤心咖啡馆之歌》是美国南方女作家卡森·麦卡勒斯的代表作。小说中,麦卡勒斯充分利用了民谣体的叙事特点来展开写作,不仅因为民谣体的重复结构、＂概要式＂特点和叙述者所体现的＂非个人化＂特征有助于其对创作主旨展开充分论述,还因为她所处的特定历史时期的时代精神要求作者与文本保持一定的审美距离。
Abstract
The Ballad of the Sad Café is a representative work of American novelist Carson McCullers.In this novella McCullers made full use of the narrative characteristics of the ballad,not only because this genre with its repetive structure summarized the feature and the impersonal narrators and catered to the author’s specific requirements in composing the story to display the motif,but also because the historical period in which she lived entailed a considerable aesthetic distance between the author and her text.
