In Jin Yong's novels,the number of"bad women"is relatively small,and discussions have historically focused on the positive female characters.This article selects eight"bad"women who are"universally recognized"by readers,not only presenting their temperament and actions as consciously shaped by Jin Yong's narrative,but also analyzing and comparing them with other female and male characters in Jin Yong's works and the female images presented in other martial arts novels,from the"blanks"that Jin Yong deliberately avoids writing and the ones that he does not present unconsciously,to grasp more accurately Jin Yong's true views on women.
