Effect of Yishen Huoxue Jiedu Decoction on Carotid Atherosclerosis of Kidney Deficiency and Blood Stasis Type
Objective:To observe the effect of Yishen Huoxue Jiedu Decoction on carotid atherosclerosis(CAS)of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type.Methods:80 patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis type CAS admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to April 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 40 patients in each group.Both groups were treated with conventional Western medicine,while the observation group was given Yishen Huoxue Jiedu Tang,with a treatment period of four weeks.Observe and compare the clinical efficacy,changes in blood lipids and other indicators between the two groups.Results:There was no significant difference in the TCM syndrome score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but after treatment,the TCM syndrome score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group(97.50%)was numerically higher than that of the control group(92.50%),but there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Compared to before treatment,the levels of blood lipid indicators(CHOL,TG,LDL-C)and inflammatory factors(NLRP3,Caspase-1,IL-1 β,IL-18)in the two groups significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05),while the observed group showed a significant decrease compared to the control group(P<0.05).During the medication period,there were no significant adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion:The conventional lipid regulating anti atherosclerosis combined with Yishen Huoxue Jiedu Decoction has a positive effect on the treatment of CAS of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type,which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,regulate the level of blood lipids,control inflammatory reactions,and has good safety.It is worth recommending.
