Clinical Study on Tangmaikang Granules Combined with Lilalutide Injection in the Treatment of Elderly Type 2 Diabetes Patients with Poor Blood Glucose Control by Metformin Alone
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of tangmaikang granules combined with liraglutide injection in treatment of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)with poor blood glucose control by metformin alone.Methods:152 elderly patients with T2DM with poor blood glucose control by metformin alone were divided into control group(76 cases,all received metformin treat-ment,and received liraglutide injection on this basis)and study group(76 cases,received tangmaikang granules on the basis of control group)according to the random number table method.The efficacy,blood glucose[fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 h fasting blood glu-cose(2hPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)],blood lipids[triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)],insulin resistance[insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),islet β cell secre-tion function index(HOMA-β)],vascular endothelial function related indexes[endothelin-1(ET-1),nitric oxide(NO)]were compared between two groups.Simultaneously observe the occurrence of adverse reactions in both groups.Results:Compared with control group,the total clinical effective rate in study group was higher(P＜0.05).Compared with control group after treatment,ET-1,FBG,2hPG,HbAlc,TG,TC,LDL-C,HOMA-IR in study group were lower,HOMA-β,HDL-C,NO in study group were higher(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Tangmaikang granules combined with liraglutide injection in elderly T2DM patients with poor blood glucose control by metformin alone,which can effectively control blood glucose and blood lipids,improve insulin,and regulate vascular endothelial function,with good safety and significant effect.
