Comparative Analysis of the Effects of Different Orthodontic Methods on the Expression of Salivary Chemokines,Gingival Crevicular Fluid Inflammatory Factors, and Periodontal Health in Adolescent Orthodontic Patients
Objective:To compare and analyze the effects of different orthodontic methods on the expression of salivary chemokines, gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors, and periodontal health in adolescent orthodontic patients. Methods:A total of 100 adolescent patients treated with orthodontic treatment in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected.A retrospec-tive analysis was conducted using a random number table method.Among them,30 patients were treated with Twin Block appliances and divided into a Twin Block group.30 patients were treated with a straight wire appliance and divided into a straight wire arch group.40 patients were treated with a non bracket concealed appliance and divided into a non bracket group.Compare the corrective effects of three groups of patients, including changes in salivary chemokines, gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors, and periodontal health indicators before and after treatment. Results:Masticatory function, aesthetics, comfort, and convenience satisfaction scores were higher than those in the Twin-Block and straight silk arch groups(P<0.05);After the correction correction,The levels of CXCL13,CXCL11,CXCL10,and CXCL 8 related salivary chemokines in the no-bracket group were lower than those in the straight and Twin-Block groups,The Twin-Block group was lower than the straight silk arch group(P<0.05);After the correction in the three groups of patients,The ex-pression levels of IL-1β and TNF-α in the no-free group were lower than the straight filament arch group and Twin-Block group,The Twin-Block group was lower than the straight silk arch group(P<0.05);After the correction correction,CAL,PD,BI and PLI levels were lower in the no less group than in the straight silk arch and Twin-Block group,The Twin-Block group was lower than that in the straight silk arch group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Invisible bracketless orthodontic appliances in adolescent orthodontic treatment patient satisfaction is better than Twin-Block orthodontic appliances and straight arch orthodontic appliances, but invisible bracketless orthodontic appli-ances in the treatment process of the patient's salivary chemokines, gingival response and periodontal health level of the impact of less, the clinic can be in accordance with the patient's economic situation and the degree of aesthetics of the requirements of a comprehensive choice.
