Effects of Small Needle Knife Combined with Intra-Articular Injection of PRP on Pain Mediators,Hemorheology and Bone Metabolism Indexes in Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To observe the changes of pain mediators, hemorheology and bone metabolism indexes in patients with knee osteoarthritis after intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)and small needle knife. Methods:According to the random number table method,112 patients with knee osteoarthritis were divided into control group(56 cases,intra-articular injection of PRP treatment)and study group(56 cases, small needle knife treatment on the basis of control group). The curative effect, scale score, pain mediators, hemorheology, bone metabolism indexs and adverse reactions during treatment were compared between two groups. Results:The total clinical effective rate in study group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The visual analogue scale(VAS)and serum levels of substance P(SP),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase isomer-5b(TRACP-5b),erythrocyte aggregation index, whole blood viscosity low shear, plasma viscosity and whole blood viscosity high shear in study group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P<0.05).The New York hospital for special surgery knee score(HSS)score,Lysholm score and serum bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP)and osteocalcin(BGP)levels were higher than those in con-trol group(P<0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in two groups. Conclusion:Small needle knife combined with intra-articular injection of PRP can promote the recovery of knee joint function in patients with knee osteoarthritis, which may be relate to the effective regulation of pain mediators, hemorheology and bone metabolism indexs.
