Effects of Calcium Dobesilate Capsules Combined with Panretinal Photocoa Gulation on Visual Acuity,Retinal Vessel Density and Choroidal Thickness in Patients with Diabetic Retinopathy
Objective:To investigate the effects of calcium dobesilate capsules combined with panretinal photocoa gulation(PRP)on visual acuity,fundus microcirculation and choroid thickness in patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR),in order to provide reasonable treatment for DR patients.Methods:A total of 96 patients with DR admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into experimental group and control group,48 cases in each group,respectively.The control group was treated with PRP,and the experimental group was treated with calcium dobesilate capsules combined with PRP for 4 weeks.The total effective rate,central macular thickness(CMT),best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressure level,fundus microcirculation[resistance index(RI),peak systolic velocity(PSV),end diastolic velocity(ED V)],choroidal thickness[sub-foveal choroidal thickness(SFCT),and superior choroid thickness(SCT),inferior choroid thickness(ICT),temporal choroid thickness(TCT),nasal choroid thickness(NCT)]and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,CMT,BCVA and intraocular pressure level of DR patients in both groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment,and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,EDV,PSV and RI levels of DR Patients in both groups were signifi-cantly improved compared with before treatment,and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,SFCT,SCT,ICT,TCT and NCT levels of DR Patients in both groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment,and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant dif-ference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Calcium dobesilate capsules combined with PRP is conducive to improving the total effective rate of DR patients,and has positive effects on improving patients'visual acuity,fundus microcirculation and choroidal thickness,and has good safety.It is a reasonable and effective scheme for clinical treatment of DR patients,and provides a new idea and method for clinical treatment of DR.
