Relationship between Serum DKK-1,SDF-1α and Disease Severity in Patients with Multiple Myeloma Bone Disease
Objective:To explore the relationship between serum Dickkopf-1(DKK-1),stromal cell-derived factor-1α(SDF-1α)and disease severity in patients with multiple myeloma bone disease(MBD).Methods:A total of 62 patients with MBD and 50 healthy controls were enrolled as study group and control group between January 2022 and December 2023.The diagnostic value of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1α in MBD and their relationship with disease occurrence were analyzed.According to MBD grading standard in imag-ing examination, patients were divided into mild group(grade 1-2)and severe group(grade 3-4),and levels of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1αin the two groups were compared. The evaluation value of DKK-1 and SDF-1α for disease severity was analyzed. Results:The levels of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1α in study group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).AUC values of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1αin the diagnosis of MBD were 0.771 and 0.717,respectively.The levels of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1α in severe group were higher than those in mild group(P<0.05).AUC values of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1α for evaluating the severity of MBD were 0.721 and 0.668,re-spectively.Conclusion:The levels of serum DKK-1 and SDF-1α are abnormally increased in patients with MBD.Combined detection of the two indexes is valuable in the diagnosis and severity evaluation of MBD.
