Effects of Baduanjin Combined with Metoprolol on Vascular Endothelial Function,Exercise Tolerance and Oxidative Stress in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease Complicated with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To observe the effects of baduanjin combined with metoprolol on exercise tolerance, vascular endothelial function and oxidative stress in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:142 patients with coronary heart disease complicated with CHF were divided into control group(conventional therapy and metoprolol treatment)and study group(conventional therapy and baduanjin combined with metoprolol treatment),each 71 cases.Cardiac function indexes before and after treatment were compared between two groups:left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),serum B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD);exercise endurance;oxidative stress indexes:serum malondialdehyde(MDA),catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD);vascular endothelial function indexes:nitric oxide(NO),endothelin 1(ET-1).Results:Compared with control group after treatment,LVEF,NO,SOD and CAT in study group were higher,LVEDD,LVESD,BNP,ET-1 and MDA were lower, and 6 min walking distance(6MWD)was longer(P<0.05).Conclusion:Baduanjin combined with metoprolol in treating patients with coronary artery disease complicated with CHF can effectively improve patients'exercise tolerance, improve patients'vascular endothelial function and oxidative stress level.
