Effects of Dexmedetomidine Combined with Propofol on Stress Response,Reproductive Hormones and Serum NGF,NSE and S100β Protein in Patients Undergoing Transurethral Resection of Prostate
Objective:To observe the effects of dexmedetomidine combined with propofol on stress response, reproductive hor-mones,serum nerve growth factor(NGF),neuron-specific enolase(NSE)and S100β protein in patients undergoing transurethral resec-tion of prostate(TURP).Methods:160 TURP patients were divided into control group(80 cases, propofol anesthesia)and observation group(80 cases, dexmedetomidine combined with propofol anesthesia)according to random number table method. The perioperative in-dexes,serum stress response indexes, reproductive hormones, incidence of postoperative delirium, serum NGF,NSE,S100β protein and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results:Compared with control group, first time out of bed, recovery time,hospi-talization time and first feeding time in observation group were shorter, and the incidence of postoperative delirium was lower(P<0.05).Compared with control group 1 d after operation,epinephrine(NE),cortisol(Cor),testosterone(T),estrogen(E2),follicle stimulating hor-mone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),NSE,S100β protein in observation group were lower, and NGF was higher(P<0.05).The inci-dence of adverse reactions:There was no difference between the control group of 6.25%and the observation group of 5.00%(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of dexmedetomidine and propofol can reduce the stress response, reduce the level of the incidence of post-operative delirium, improve reproductive hormones levels and regulate the levels of serum NGF,NSE and S100β protein in TURP patients, and with good safety.
