Effect of Acupoint Injection of Xingnaojing Injection on Blood Ammonia,Mental State and Cognitive Function in Patients with Early Hepatic Encephalopathy
Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint injection of xingnaojing injection on blood ammonia, mental state and cognitive function in patients with early hepatic encephalopathy(HE).Methods:Random number table method was used, sixty patients with early HE were divided into control group(n=30,western medicine comprehensive treatment measures)and experimental group(n=30,on the basis of control group, acupoint injection of xingnaojing injection).Mini-mental state examination(MMSE)score, hepatic encephalopathy score(HESA)grade, blood ammonia(NH3),liver function index, prothrombin time(PT)and other changes were compared between two groups, and the occurrence of adverse reactions in two groups was observed. Results:The MMSE scores in two groups increased, and experimental group was higher than that of control group 3 d after treatment(P<0.05).The HESA grading in two groups were improved, and the improvement effect in experimental group was better than that in control group 3 d after treatment(P<0.05).The NH3 in two groups decreased, and the experimental group was lower than that of control group 3 d after treatment(P<0.05).Alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and total bilirubin(TBil)decreased in two groups 3 d after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in ALT,TBil and PT between two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions, there was no difference between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The acupoint injection of xingnaojing injection can effectively improve the NH3 level, mental state and cognitive function of patients with early HE,and has no significant effect on the liver function and PT of patients, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
