Comparison of Hospital Infection Status and Comprehensive Efficacy between Daytime Chemotherapy and Inpatient Chemotherapy in Patients with Malignant Tumors
Objective:To analyze the hospital infection situation and comprehensive efficacy of daytime chemotherapy and inpatient chemotherapy in patients with malignant tumors. Methods:Select 400 patients with malignant tumors undergoing daytime chemotherapy from January 2022 to December 2023 as the study group, and 400 patients with malignant tumors undergoing inpatient chemotherapy during the same period as the control group.Compare the incidence of infections, adverse events, clinical efficacy, and quality of life scores between the two groups during chemotherapy. Results:The incidence of infection during chemotherapy in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(1.50%vs 6.00%,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(11.00%vs 2.25%,P<0.05).After treatment, the KPS score and ADL score of patients in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Daytime chemotherapy reduces the hospitalization time of malignant tumor patients, reduces the incidence of infections and chemotherapy related adverse events during chemotherapy, improves their quality of life, but does not affect the efficacy of chemotherapy.
