Effects of Compound Banmao Capsules Combined with Goserelin on PI3K/Akt Signaling Pathway,Apoptosis Factors and Short-Term Prognosis in Premenopausal Breast Cancer Patients
Objective:To investigate the effects of compound banmao capsules combined with goserelin on phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt)signaling pathway,apoptosis factors and short-term prognosis in premenopausal breast cancer pa-tients.Methods:According to the random number table method,98 premenopausal breast cancer patients were divided into control group(49 cases,treated with goserelin on the basis of chemotherapy)and observation group(49 cases,administered compound banmao cap-sules on the basis of the control group).The changes in the levels of serum tumor markers,serum apoptotic factors,relative expression of PI3K messenger ribonucleic acid(mRNA)and Akt mRNA,quality of life and short-term prognosis were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Results:The levels of serum carbohydrate antigen 153(CA1 53),tissue polypeptide antigen(TPA),thymidine kinase 1(TK1),decoy receptor 3(DcR3),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),PI3K mRNA and Akt mRNA expression in observation group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P<0.05).The scores of each dimension of European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire(EORTC QLQ-C30)in observation group were higher than those in control group after treatment(P<0.05).The survival rates at 18 and 24 months after treatment in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compound banmao capsules combined with goserelin can effectively control the disease progression of pre-menopausal breast cancer patients and improve their short-term prognosis,which may be related to the regulation of PI3K/Akt signaling pathway,the regulation of apoptotic factor levels and the improvement of quality of life.
