The Systematic Overview of the Anti-intestinal Cancer Pharmacological Activity and Mechanism of Action of Hedyotis Diffusa Willd
Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the most common malignant tumor of the digestive system in the world,which has a very bad impact on medical and health care.CRC belongs to the categories of"Intestinal mass","Visceral poisons"and"locked anal hemor-rhoids"in traditional Chinese medicine.Furthermore,the traditional Chinese medicine has its own unique advantages in the treatment of CRC and has accumulated a lot of practical experience.As one of the representatives of Chinese herbal medicine for the treatment of can-cer,the Hedyotis diffusa Willd.(HDW)is mainly"Quxie"and"Fuzheng"in anticancer.Through its various active ingredients,the HDW plays a role in inhibiting tumor cell proliferation,inducing tumor cell apoptosis,inhibiting tumor cell metastasis,inhibiting tumor angio-genesis,inhibiting inflammation,and reversing drug resistance.This study systematically summarized the pharmacological activity and mechanism of action of the HDW in the treatment of CRC,and provided a reference for in-depth research on the treatment of CRC with traditional Chinese medicine.
