Objective:To analyze the effect of massage and rolling intervention on the expression of serum inflammatory factors in rabbits with quadriceps injury. Methods:Thirty healthy adult New Zealand white rabbits(half male and half female)are randomly divided into three groups:healthy group, model group and intervention group. No treatment is given to the experimental animals in the healthy group as normal control. The experimental animals in the model group and intervention group struck the middle abdominal segment of the quadriceps muscle of the right hind limb of rabbits with self-made gravity plumb, and established the quadriceps muscle injury model. In the intervention group, starting from the 8th day after modeling, white no follow-up action for the model group. After the intervention, the serum samples of the three groups are collected, and the contents of interleukin1(IL-1β),IL-6,IL-8,tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),nitric oxide(NO)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in serum are detected by ELISA.Results:Compared with the healthy group, the serum levels of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α,NO and CRP of rabbits with quadriceps injury in model group and intervention group are significantly increased(P<0.05).After the intervention, compared with the model group, the serum levels of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α,NO and CRP in the intervention group are significantly decreased but still higher than those in the healthy group(P<0.05).Conclusion:By regulating the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α,NO and CRP inflammatory cytokines, massage and rolling therapy can reduce the inflammatory response of quadriceps muscle and improve the damaged quadriceps muscle tissue.
