Study on the Therapeutic Effect of the Extract of the Root of Gentiana macrophylla and Stigmata Maydis on Hyperuricemia Rats
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of the ethanol extracts of root of Gentiana macrophylla and stigmata maydis on hyperuricemia(HUA)in rats. Methods:Ethanol extracts of the root of Gentiana macrophylla and stigmata maydis are prepared, and the HUA model is constructed by intervention in Wister rats, and febuxostat tablets are used to treat HUA rats. The serum uric acid(SUA)and serum creatinine(SCre)levels in the serum before and after treatment are detected, and the double kidney sections of HUA rats are prepared to observe their effects on the structure of kidney tissue. Results:Compared with the model group, the serum levels of SUA and SCre in the high-dose[2.7 mg/(kg·d)]ethanol extracts of the root of Gentiana macrophylla andstigmata maydis treatment groups are significantly reduced.Combined with the observation of tissue structure,it is found that the ethanol extracts of the root of Gentiana macrophylla andstigmata maydis can effectively reduce kidney swelling and renal cell degeneration and necrosis. Conclusion:The ethanol extracts of the root of Gentiana macrophylla andstigmata maydis can achieve renal protection and intervention in rats with hyperuricemia from different perspectives, and has certain potential for development and application.
